“As a little girl, my mother would always send me out the door with a lunch in my hand, a kiss on my cheek and the words in my ear “Now you make sure to always stand up for the underdog. If you see someone getting picked on, I don’t care if it’s not about you, I want you to step in and defend that person.” This were her instructions to all four of us…EVERY day. My mother grew up in an abusive situation where no one came to her defense. Though she overcame, she passed her passion onto her children…onto me. Kripa Connection allows me to take my mother’s charge to “defend the underdog” both within my own city and country but across oceans as well. I am humbled to serve on the Board of Kripa Connection where daily I am able to defend Underdogs and, most importantly, please our Lord.”
